Amalie Stalheim is an award-winning cellist celebrated for her intense musicality, bold artistry and compelling stage presence. She has performed as a soloist with many of Europe’s leading orchestras. She is deeply dedicated to expanding the cello repertoire and is as passionate about the standard repertoire as she is about contemporary music.

GPMusic is delighted to announce that we are taking over the general management of the French ensemble Quatuor Agate with immediate effect.

The Quatuor Agate has won numerous awards at international competitions and was part of ECHO Rising Stars last season. As part of this programme, the ensemble performed in most of Europe's leading concert venues, including the Philharmonie de Paris, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Barbican Centre, the Kölner Philharmonie, and the Konzerthaus Dortmund.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) for the confidence they have placed in us and for handing over the management in such a collegial manner.

Sindy Mohamed's debut album, "Farasha", named after the Arabic word for "butterfly", appears on the Berlin Classics label!
For the violist, the butterfly’s metamorphosis represents her artistic journey and transformation leading up to the present moment. Drawing from a variety of musical traditions, the album features compositions and arrangements for viola and piano by Pierre de Bréville, Paul Hindemith, Khaled Al Kammar, and Camille Saint-Saëns. She is partnered by the renowned pianist Julien Quentin. For Al Kammar's "Faten Amal Harby”, she is also joined by Wassim Mukdad on the oud and Serdar Saydan on the riq.

With her new album, HELIKON, Danae Dörken once again returns to her Greek roots. To celebrate the centenary of Mikis Theodorakis this year, she has dedicated a multifaceted and deeply personal album to the renowned Greek composer. It includes two works for solo piano and orchestra: his exciting early piano concerto “Helikon” and his Suite No. 1, a "hymn to the divinity of dance“. In addition, the album contains a selection of songs arranged for solo piano by Tatiana Papageorgiou. Danae Dörken is accompanied by the Staatskapelle Weimar, conducted by Kornilios Michailidis.
